It's surroundings and position within the village is really nice. It's in a beautiful area of Somerset and ideally situated to Bath and all the other attractions in the area. The host gave us a great welcome, and her fruit cake went down a treat. We would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a taste of Somerset.

We really enjoyed it and the local amenities.

It was very clean and had everything we could have needed for our stay, and more. You could tell it had been a much loved family home. The fruit cake was most welcome and delicious. Timsbury is a lovely village and well positioned for the many places of interest we visited, such as Bath, Bristol, Cheddar, Wells to name but a few. We also had a nice walk alongside the Chew Valley lake. The couple of meals we had in the Seven Stars pub which were very good and reasonably priced. Unfortunately we couldnât sample the fish and chips from the chippy as it was closed for the week. All in all though a brilliant week in Crooked Well, helped by having sunshine every day.
