About this property

Situated conveniently close to the thriving High Street and the Harbour The Cottage, provides comfortable dog friendly accommodation for up to four people in a delightful holiday home.  Light and airy this cottage, formerly a fisherman’s cottage, is situated 3 minutes’ walk from Christchurch Quay and the beautiful Priory Church.

With so much to do on the doorstep including the 1930’s art deco cinema, an excellent variety of multi-national restaurants including the popular Captains Club and a variety of interesting shops, Christchurch is a fantastic place to have a holiday.  The picturesque harbour is formed by the confluence of two rivers and is a haven for swans, cormorants and other birdlife.  There is a frequent ferry service from the Quay to Mudeford Sandbank which has a delightful beach only accessible by ferry or from Hengistbury Head by land-train.

For the more energetic try crazy golf, hire a boat or enjoy a long walk or cycle ride to Hengistbury Head and beyond to Bournemouth.

The New Forest National Park, coastal town of Lymington and Bournemouth are just a short drive away, as well as many visitor attractions across the New Forest and Dorset.
