Approached via a long drive overlooking daffodil fields, this comfortable, single-storey, detached bungalow is a lovely holiday home for families or couples, located on the doorstep to the Jurassic Coast. It has a large enclosed lawned garden and a spacious games room. West View is located within the owner’s country home and has direct access onto bridleways and footpaths, leading all the way to Wareham. Set in a convenient location for road links to the beaches of Poole and Bournemouth, Sandbanks, The Purbeck Coastline, historical maritime Southampton with historic ships, Salisbury Cathedral, Christchurch Harbour and Dorchester. Other attractions include Monkey World, Stone Henge, Marwell Zoo, Beaulieu Motor Museum, New Forest Otter and Owl Park, Kingston Lacy (NT) and Badbury Rings. The New Forest is also within easy driving distance with its heathlands, where ponies and cattle roam. Beach 6 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Relaxing stay. Good facilities and well equipped; especially the kitchen - old large fridge/freezer but adequately functional. New microwave, excellent dishwasher and washing machine. Comfy lounge and TV with view into front garden - overgrown but great bird watching - green finches, thrush, and many others. King bedroom with lots of storage and TV. Walls, ceiling and skirting boards need a good clean and lick of paint and tiled or laminate throughout lounge and hallway to bedrooms. . Twin bedroom with TV. Games room with Comfy chairs and games, two bathrooms- very clean. Shower in main bathroom wasn't great - the shower head a small jet of water. Shower room by back door with better shower head; used middle setting. Left door open afterwards and back door window open as appeared extracture fan not working. Large back garden with view of burnt out metal barn and trees. Not secure for our toy poodle and pomeranian as get through farm fence and side of house. Small gas BBQ, appeared in working order. Washing line and table and chairs. Very quiet location and great to get to lots of attractions and seaside. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. No welcome pack. We'll worth the money.

This could be a nice property but it needs a good clean. I had to clean the fridge & the breadbin before putting my food in them. The oven was dirty. There were silverfish in the bath & around the bathroom. There were cobwebs & spiders in the shower and in almost every corner. There were stains on the carpets & curtains. The sink in the games room was dirty. I had to clean all the green mould off of the washing line before I could use it (I would have used the clothes horse instead but that was broken). The overgrown front garden was actually a bonus as it blocked the view of the lorries. Wouldn't stay here again.

This place could be so nice with a good clean and refurbish!There's black mould on the ceillings and round the bathroom fittings, there's paint scratched off throughout and my bedroom had a small hole in the wall, there were silverfish in the bath (ewwww!), the curtains and beds are stained with something white and brown, there were no pillow protectors, I reported that the BBQ wasn't working and was advised it probably best to buy a disposable, there's burn marks in the carpet in the living room and stains on the hallway carpet, you can't access the front garden at all because it's so overgrown...BUT! The games room is fab, the location is absolutely brilliant, there is so much to see locally, and the enclosed back garden was great for the dogs! If it had a good do up and they got professional cleaners in, we would come back!!!(I have photos of all the things I complained about)
