Private parking for 1 car; additional on road parking. No smoking.. During the first half of 2018 this apartment has been renovated and improved. The garden has undergone a complete overhaul as have the majority of the rooms within the apartment. Returning guests will notice a vast difference including the relocation of the front door and the removal of the conservatory being replaced with an orangery complete with underfloor heating. This family and pet-friendly self-contained holiday apartment occupies the entire ground floor of a converted detached Victorian house. It is centrally located for exploring Bournemouth, Westbourne and Poole.
The property is the perfect base to explore the Purbeck Hills, the port of Poole, Sandbanks and the New Forest. Nearby, take boat trips to local places of interest, including the National Trust’s Brownsea Island Nature Reserve and the rspb Nature Reserve near Poole Harbour. Fishing, watersports and golf are all available locally and for vibrant nightlife and shopping, visit Poole and Bournemouth. Attractions close by include Farmer Palmers, Monkey World, The Tank Museum, Tower Park and Tyneham Village. Beach 3½ miles. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

The apartment was very well equipped and comfortable.On arrival there was a distinct smell of ‘dog’ which was rather off putting.There were times when the occupants upstairs could be heard.The parking was difficult, as it is quite narrow, and you are also expected, once parked, to leave room for the upstairs apartment to access their shed, which was virtually impossible with the length of our vehicle.There is very limited street parking available.Overall we enjoyed our stay although we would not return.

It was a very comfortable stay. From the moment we arrived, the sat nav took us straight there and the double fronted cottage with palm trees outside easy to spot in a long street due to the photograph provided. Parking on the driveway right by the front door. Large spacious very well furnished lounge diner. Great for our little dog as the only carpet is in the inner hallway and an enclosed wrap round courtyard was totally secure and private. Bathroom and kitchen fully fitted and well equipped with great appliances. Everything you need for a family or a couple like ourselves. Lots of space for entertaining and having family & friends over who can park in the residential street out front. Comfortable beds and bed linen, fluffy white towels etc. Even had extras provided for our arrival. Felt very welcoming and as though the host cares about your stay. The place was spotles throughout, light, bright and airey. Books, games, TVs with all the apps. Large Waitrose 3 mins in the car

What a fabulous apartment! Everything you need was supplied by the owners including condiments, tea towels/hand towels in the kitchen, ample toilet rolls, washing lines and a fabulous welcome pack! The location was very good and even though in a very populated area, extremely quiet. The driveway is snug, we have a kodiaq but managed to get it up drive ok. Albert apartment was extremely clean throughout, a very well equipped kitchen, reclining settees and chairs, comfortable bed. A great find, would definitely go back again.
