Guests say

Little Orchard is consistently praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and idyllic location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, the peaceful garden, and the proximity to local amenities and attractions in Somerset. The owner, Ralph, is noted for his helpfulness and the added charm of being able to pick fruit from the orchard.

Guests frequently commend the property for its spotless condition, indicating a high standard of cleanliness throughout the house.

The property's location is highly regarded for its quiet countryside charm, accessibility to local shops, and ease of travel to nearby cities and attractions.

Reviews highlight the comfortable furnishings and well-equipped living spaces, contributing to a pleasant and relaxing stay. However, a minor note on the thinness of the curtains suggests room for improvement.

Facilities are generally praised, especially the kitchen equipment and garden. However, the mention of a non-functioning EV charger and the absence of a downstairs toilet suggest some areas could be enhanced.

While guests mention the enjoyment of picking fruit and the provision of guidebooks, there is no consistent reference to gifts or special touches provided by the host, thus a score cannot be accurately given.

We recently enjoyed a week over New Year at Little Orchard. The property was clean, comfortable and well located. The kitchen was well equipped and we ate in every night. The lounge was warm and welcoming after a day exploring and nicely decorated with a Christmas Tree. The bedrooms a good size and comfortable beds. We had 2 cars and parking was easy. The owner lives next door and was extremely helpful when we experienced car difficulties. A great holiday home and would highly recommend it.

What a beautiful house to spend our holiday in. Everything you could possibly need to cook whatever you wanted for dinner. Lovely and peaceful with amazing views from all rooms. It was a shame it was December because I could just imagine a glass of wine and eating al fresco on the patio on a lovely summers evening! Perfectly located for Bath and Bristol and several lovely National Trust properties. Thank you to Ralph for providing a wonderful place to stay
