This holiday hideaway lies just 9 miles from the centre of Bath, known as the jewel of south west England, and 10 miles from Bristol with its scores of cultural and historical attractions. This detached property has been renovated to a high standard throughout boasting comfortable, family accommodation. Outside there is a rear garden backing on to the owner’s orchard.
There are numerous public footpaths which branch out from the village. A short walk up the lane toward Mearns, puts you on the path to the nearby pretty village of Timsbury, and takes in great views of the rolling countryside. The Greyfield Colliery has left its name to Greyfield’s Wood, a beautiful and well-cared for Woodland Trust site that conceals a secret waterfall. Also within easy reach is the cathedral town of Wells, atmospheric Glastonbury, the geological wonders of Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge, the beauties of the Chew Valley and the Mendip Hills, plus a host of English villages such as Chew Magna, Pensford, Timsbury and Bishop Sutton. For families, Longleat Safari Park is a 40-minute drive and an excellent day out. Shop and pub ¼ mile, restaurant 2 miles.

What a beautiful house to spend our holiday in. Everything you could possibly need to cook whatever you wanted for dinner. Lovely and peaceful with amazing views from all rooms. It was a shame it was December because I could just imagine a glass of wine and eating al fresco on the patio on a lovely summers evening! Perfectly located for Bath and Bristol and several lovely National Trust properties. Thank you to Ralph for providing a wonderful place to stay

Very nice centrally located cottage. Within easy reach of bath/ wells/ Glastonbury etc. well equipped and nice and clean. Bedding was of a very good quality which is nice. Owner is friendly and approachable

Little orchard is a great place to stay to explore Somerset- we loved coming back each day. Ralph made us welcome but left us to enjoy this lovely house - thank you. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. The garden is a great space to explore. Would recommend and will return.
