Little Orchard receives glowing praise for its spotless cleanliness, comfortable and well-equipped interiors, and peaceful countryside setting. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful host, the spacious garden and orchard, and the convenient location for exploring Bath, Bristol, and Somerset. The property is described as cosy, quiet, and thoughtfully furnished, with many guests eager to return. Minor issues mentioned include thin bedroom curtains, a lack of a downstairs toilet, and occasional maintenance niggles, but these do not detract from the overwhelmingly positive experience.
Multiple reviews highlight the property as spotlessly clean, tidy, and well maintained. Only one or two minor comments mention small issues, but overall, guests consistently praise the high standard of cleanliness.
The cottage is frequently described as being in a peaceful, quiet village with easy access to Bath, Bristol, and Somerset attractions. Guests appreciate the proximity to local shops, pubs, and countryside walks. A few mention narrow roads, but this is typical for the area and not seen as a major drawback.
Guests repeatedly mention the house as comfortable, cosy, and spacious, with good quality bedding and furnishings. The peaceful setting and thoughtful touches like fleecy blankets and blackout blinds add to the comfort. Only minor negatives, such as thin curtains and a radiator issue, are noted.
The property is praised for being well equipped, especially the kitchen, and for having everything needed for a pleasant stay. The garden and orchard are appreciated extras. A few guests mention the lack of a downstairs toilet and a temporary EV charger issue, but these are exceptions rather than the rule.
The host is described as friendly, helpful, and responsive, often going out of his way to assist guests. Some guests mention being allowed to pick fruit from the orchard or receiving small gifts such as greengages or a welcome basket, but please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Nice holiday rental with plenty of space as there were only two of us. Access not great due to narrow roads, but this is not uncommon in Somerset.Owner was very friendly and welcoming and provided lots of useful information about where to eat and visit in the area.Very comfortable and relaxing in the house.Good WiFi, which was needed as phone signal in the house was almost non-existant Plenty of interesting places to visit including Bath, Wells, Cheddar and Avalon Marshes.Overall a really good holiday.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Warm and cosy, homely. Big windows let lots of natural light in. Super clean and well resourced. Perfect location. So peaceful but close to amenities. A lot of thought has gone into this home. Highly reccomend.
