Guests say

Little Orchard is a beautifully maintained cottage in a peaceful village setting, ideal for exploring Somerset, Bath, and Bristol. Guests consistently praise its cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped kitchen, as well as the friendly and helpful owner. The garden and orchard are highlights, with guests enjoying the tranquil outdoor space. The property is within walking distance of local amenities, including shops and a pub. Minor issues mentioned include thin bedroom curtains and occasional maintenance concerns, but these are far outweighed by the overwhelmingly positive feedback.

Cleanliness is frequently highlighted, with multiple guests describing the property as spotlessly clean, tidy, and well maintained. Only one review mentioned a minor issue, but this was not cleanliness-related.

The location is highly praised for its peacefulness, proximity to Bath, Bristol, and local attractions, and easy access to village amenities. Some mention narrow roads, but this is typical for the area and did not detract from the overall experience.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as very comfortable, with quality beds, cosy furnishings, and a peaceful atmosphere. Occasional comments about thin curtains and radiator temperature were rare and did not significantly impact overall comfort.

The cottage is described as well equipped, especially the kitchen, with good quality bedding and showers. Facilities such as WiFi and parking are appreciated. A few guests noted the absence of a downstairs toilet and a temporary EV charger issue, but these were exceptions.

Many guests mention the owner's friendliness and helpfulness, as well as thoughtful touches like guidebooks, handwritten maps, and occasional gifts of fruit from the orchard. Please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Had good time good location for us.Can use bus from village to Bath and Bristol.Takes much longer that way that’s why We used park and ride to both only 20 mins and 30 mins for them very easy.Good location because you can good to Wells etc opposite direction about same time.Cottage is in a very quiet lane. did not hear one car going past when in cottage. If we are back that way again I will book it again.Terry /Wendy

Our holiday was excellent from start to finish. Little Orchard is well situated near Bath and Bristol and it was easy to get our bearings. The house had everything we needed. There were only four of us, but the house can accommodate six people. We had a Tesco grocery delivery on our first night, but we also used the local Spar supermarket. On our final night we ate out at the local Fish & Chip restaurant (recommended) in the village. It is called "The Haynes". We met the owner, Ralph, a couple of times during our stay. He kindly gave us some good recommendations of where to go and what to do.

Hi, I’m sorry to say that my week at this location was not up to the high standard that we are used to. I used to like blue chip holidays, I take it that they don’t operate anymore which is a shame. Anyway I am sorry but I’m only being honest.
