Me, my husband, my brother and mum had a really lovely stay in Compton Martin. Meadow View was a perfect property for us. Plenty of space with 4 large bedrooms, large kitchen & diner, a great utility room and large lounge with the cute sun room looking over the gardens. Lovely and quiet. Very clean and enough utilities for cooking. Bread, milk, tea, coffee were available. Also some dish washing tablets, laundry pods, washing-up liquid & cloths and shower gel. You will need a car if you want to visit anywhere else but great, safe parking area at property and with easy acces to Wells, Chew Valley Lake, Cheddar & the coast. We walked (with 82 year old mum) to the Ring O' Bells pub, there is only a very short bit without a pavement. Lovely old pub with character and we had good food & drink. We also had a lovely meal at The Blue Bowl Inn, a short drive away in West Harptree. We had a wonderful stay, 5 days away from hectic London, blis!
