Comfortable two bedroom cottage with a four poster bed near Lanivet and Fowey. One of four Helman Tor Cottages set in fabulous countryside with an open plan living area and a shared garden to enjoy. Note: This property can be booked with Refs. 936311, 936829 and 936830, together they sleep 14.
A small village just to the west of Bodmin, Lanivet is a collection of picturesque properties, an award-winning fish and chip restaurant, a pub and a few shops. The main town in the area is Bodmin, with its shopping centre and local attractions of the Bodmin and Wenford Railway, the Camel cycle trail, and the Bodmin Jail with its courtroom experience. Also close by are Bodmin Moor, the National Trust’s Lanhydrock House and Gardens for walking and cycling, as well as the magnificent Eden Project.

The cottage itself is lovely but itâs very difficult to find and nowhere near any grocers supermarkets or restaurants The guidance on the car and the phone and internet connections are very poor But most places are within an hours drive thatâs after finding the I was suprised to get an email asking us to strip the beds Ofcourse we would have tidy around and left the kitchen clean but never mind Thatâs my only little gripe

Facilities well used, Cleanliness 5/10.We had brilliant weather for all of our 2-weeks stay (unlike the previous period in this part of Cornwall, according to local residents). Once the cottage was located (took approx: 1hour of searching through country lanes once reaching area of Post Code) we were relieved at position and privacy of site. We are 79 and 78 years of age so facilities and access would appear more suitable to younger and fitter Holidaymakers.

It is quite remote and the acces road is narrow. The owner is very friendly and helpfull.
