Guests say

Kestrel Corner is a well-received cottage in Cornwall, praised for its peacefulness, beautiful views, and wildlife. Guests appreciate the spaciousness, cleanliness, and friendly hosts. The rural setting offers a tranquil retreat, though access via narrow lanes can be challenging. The cottage's charm and central location for exploring Cornwall are highlights, despite some comments on water pressure and Wi-Fi connectivity.

The cottage is generally described as clean and spotless, with only one review mentioning a cleanliness score of 5/10, suggesting room for improvement towards the end of the season.

The location is appreciated for its tranquillity and views, with a central position for exploring Cornwall. However, the narrow access lanes and difficulty in finding the property have been noted as drawbacks.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, well set out, and cosy, with extra points for the quiet environment that facilitates good sleep. Some concerns about dampness and water pressure are noted.

Facilities like washing and drying are positively mentioned, but there are several comments about the low water pressure and the need for better Wi-Fi and shower facilities.

While guests have mentioned the provision of essentials like milk, tea, coffee, and sugar, there is not enough consistent information on thoughtful gestures or gifts to accurately score this category.

The cottage itself is lovely but it’s very difficult to find and nowhere near any grocers supermarkets or restaurants The guidance on the car and the phone and internet connections are very poor But most places are within an hours drive that’s after finding the I was suprised to get an email asking us to strip the beds Ofcourse we would have tidy around and left the kitchen clean but never mind That’s my only little gripe

Facilities well used, Cleanliness 5/10.We had brilliant weather for all of our 2-weeks stay (unlike the previous period in this part of Cornwall, according to local residents). Once the cottage was located (took approx: 1hour of searching through country lanes once reaching area of Post Code) we were relieved at position and privacy of site. We are 79 and 78 years of age so facilities and access would appear more suitable to younger and fitter Holidaymakers.

It is quite remote and the acces road is narrow. The owner is very friendly and helpfull.
