If you have your furry friends then the year round dog friendly Daymer bay is not to be missed and if you are feeling adventurous then a walk around/over the headland will land you in Rock where you can take the ferry over to Padstow. Travelling inland, be sure to visit Wadebridge and discover the Camel Trail, or venture over to Bodmin Moor and reach the highest peak in Cornwall, with views from coast to coast, another great spot for dog walks when you need a day off from the beach. Round off your break with a fun-filled day out at the Camel Creek Family Theme Park or follow the coastal path along the South West Coast Trail, before returning home in time for supper. Three miles inland from the stunning North Cornwall Coast is the charming village of St Teath, which is topped by a clock tower and lined with charming homes made of local Delabole slate. Every Sunday morning, bells ring out from the church and a beautiful Celtic cross, one of the tallest in Cornwall, is located in the churchyard. In addition to a café and post office, Saint Teath features a fantastic village tavern serving regional cuisine and ales. St. Teath is in a great location, near to Port Isaac, the fishing community where the hit television series Doc Martin was filmed, and only a few miles from the well-known Trebarwith Strand and Polzeath beaches. North Cornwall is the ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts since it provides cyclists and hikers beautiful routes to explore, such the Wadebridge to Padstow Camel Trail, as well as coastal trails with breath-taking vistas.

    Only problem was the fridge had leaked water every time we came back on the kitchen floor. Otherwise it was superb.
