Set close to the very centre of Cornwall this genuine log cabin constructed of square log Baltic pine offers stunning far-reaching countryside views and spacious comfortable accommodation in a beautiful rural setting two miles from the village of Lanivet. With an enclosed full width verandah and a patio with built in barbecue everything here is set up for a relaxing holiday or break whatever time of year. There are two bedrooms, a double and a zip and link bedroom giving you the option of a super king-size double or twin beds depending on your requirements. The open plan living room with sitting and dining areas and a most well equipped kitchen caters well for your eveyday needs and offers a most welcoming return after a day touring the County. West of Bodmin, Lanivet hosts a fish and chip shop, a pub and some shops. Bodmin is five miles away with its shopping centre as well as Bodmin and Wenford Railway, the Camel cycle trail, and the Bodmin Jail. Also close by are Bodmin Moor, Lanhydrock House and the Eden Project.

The lodge was airy and had plenty of room for manovering our daughters wheel chair. Our host was pleasant but not intrusive and the lodge was cosy and well equiped. On our second day we decided that we were very happy with this lodge and made a further booking for next April. Many thanks and we look forward to visiting again next year.
