Perfect for couples or a small family looking for a rural and peaceful spot away from the hustle and bustle of modern life, yet close to the amazing North Cornish coastline. The two semi-detached barns (refs UKC1450 and UKC1451), converted from original stone farm buildings, are located on a working farm in the midst of rural North Cornwall, close to the little village of Jacobstow. The picturesque seaside village of Crackington is 4 miles away and Davidstow, where the well known cheese originates, is 7 miles away. The A39 Atlantic Highway is nearby making this a perfect location for exploring this dramatic coastline. There are many interesting places to visit, including the seaside resort of Bude, the village of Boscastle, Tintagel, the legendary home of King Arthur and Port Isaac where Doc Martin is filmed. There are many fabulous beaches for swimming, surfing and building sandcastles. Each cottage has a rear sitting-out area with garden furniture. They both have full oil central heating and the granary has a lovely wood burner in the living room, making them ideal for holidays throughout the year. Beach 3½ miles. Shop and pub/restaurant ½ mile.

We had an amazing stay at The Granary. We were warmly welcome by Jeremy and Jane on arrival. The cottage itself is beautiful, spacious, clean and fully equipped with everything we needed and more. Tea, coffee and milk ready in the fridge. All the cleaning products we could need in the kitchen. Towels and bedding included which were lovely and clean. Milo the cat was a welcomed edition and he immediately took to our daughter who gave him lots of fuss whenever he came into the yard. It was lovely to see the sheep in the field next to the cottage too. Jeremy was on hand to give advice on where to go and the best beaches. The local pub is a 10 minute walk down the lane and the local beach at Crackington Haven was a 10 minute drive away which was lovely to go down in the evening and we had a nice meal in the pub there. All in all, we could not have asked for a better stay and we would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at the Granary, the cottage is well finished, clean and modern with enough space for four adults.We especially liked the en suite bathrooms for all rooms, the dedicated under cover parking port and of course Mylo the cat who was very friendly and came to say hello whenever we returned.The hosts Jeremy and Jane were friendly and always on hand to help if we had any questions and to offer advice on places to visit.The location of the cottage is perfect for those looking to explore the north Cornwall coast and places like port Isaac, Tintagel and Bude are all easily accessed within half an hour.We would highly recommend a stay at the Granary.

Our hosts were very nice and it was easy to find and check in. The Granary was well located for what we wanted but you can’t really walk anywhere from it (including the pub) because of the narrow lanes. The cottage had a very nice, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Could have done with a sun umbrella in the courtyard. Nearby Crackington haven has a nice beach and a couple of tea rooms.
