The property itself is nestled in the grounds of Bagbury Byre Bed and Breakfast, it has a delightful little private courtyard garden which provides a brilliant sun trap to read a book or dry the beach towels. The barn conversion itself has been tastefully decorated and maintains a wealth of character features the double height open plan living area exudes space and light yet with the fire going this would be a cosy pad to while away a winter week. Both bedrooms have a calm feel and tasteful décor, one double room and one twin room makes this cottage perfect for families or friends. The property is completed with a small, enclosed courtyard garden, barbeque a holiday feast and enjoy beautiful views across this tranquil valley.
Situated on the outskirts of Bude it provides wonderful access to the North Cornwall and North Devon Coasts, with plenty of beaches and some of the best cliff walks in England all close by this is a wonderful retreat and one where man’s best friend is welcome as well! The Bude canal and cycle way passes yards from the property, and you can follow either of these to the centre of town. Bude has a huge variety of pubs, restaurants, café and shops, which are a 10 minute walk away, but the beaches of the North Cornwall coast are the must see attraction. Beach 1½ miles.

We had a great week at By The Brye walk into Bude via canal just outside house and about 15mins walk or quicker walk 10mins but not as nice. Lots of other walks too and so dog loved it as most off lead even though weather was not that kind. The place had everything you needed, beds comfortable and host Amy was about if you needed anything. You can walk to beach but if surfing you would need to drive down as would be a hike to take all the gear. Parking in Bude is expensive . Would recommend we had an enjoyable stay apart from weather!
