Dear guests,
We hope you're looking forward to your upcoming stay at Sandymouth Holiday Resort!
We’re excited to share that from 6th May to 3rd June 2025, we’ll be busy building something truly special — our brand new Pirate-Themed Play Area, set to launch in late-June 2025!
During this time, the outdoor play park area will be closed to allow for the construction work. However, there’s still plenty of fun to be had! Our outdoor splash area and indoor play area will remain open as usual, ensuring your family still has plenty of space to play and make memories.
We really appreciate your understanding as we work to bring this exciting new attraction to life. If you have any questions ahead of your stay, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Warm regards,The Sandymouth Team

Lovely big space in the lodge. I took 3 children and my parents and there was space for everyone. Decking area was lovely and a view of the sea was an added bonus in the Coombe Valley Lodge. It was tired in places - the hallway door didn’t shut properly, one hob ring didn’t work and the table had a sticky surface (I think from wearing down the protection/wax rather than it being dirty). Some of the furniture was a bit tired but none of this impacted our enjoyment and it was a vast improvement on a caravan. It was light spacious and comfortable. It had a dvd player (not blu ray - I mention because I only took blu rays!). WiFi was hit and miss in lodge 24 but had a signal for 4G. Would definitely book again

We had a nice stay overall, but the main downside for us was the changing area by the swimming pool. It was very small and overcrowded, and even though we left before our swim slot ended, it was still hard to avoid the crowd around the private changing cabins and narrow locker area. It also felt like there were too many people allowed per time slot, and the pool itself didn’t really feel big enough for proper swimming.

Accommodation was a lovely size, great decking, but carpets were filthy, fixtures in the bathroom were broken, the bathroom door wouldn't shut unless you locked it. There was a hole in the patio doors that let in water and no mattress protectors on the bed.
