The beautifully rugged beach at Northcott Mouth offers sand and fun for all ages and the nearby wetland bird sanctuary and nature reserve has some lovely wildlife and scenery. Further white sandy beaches and a selection of amenities including a golf course, leisure centre, swimming pool, tennis courts, numerous shops and cafes, can be found in Bude less than 2 miles away. There are many walks direct from the property with great public footpath access, and Bude itself can be reached by foot by road or via the public footpath. This is also a great location for touring and days out can include visits to the delightful fishing villages of Clovelly, Rock and Padstow, Bodmin Moor, The Eden Project and numerous National Trust properties. Step inside this truly stunning property and you will immediately find yourself in the spacious entrance hall with the fabulous feature of a wood burner. From here venture right and into the gorgeous lounge, a generously proportioned dual aspect room that boasts an original parquet floor and comfortable seating arranged around a Smart TV and DVD. Providing somewhere for children of all ages to relax and play, there is also a fabulous secondary snug/lounge with a further Smart TV, Xbox and a great selection of board games, which is located on the opposite side of the dining room to the main lounge. Further to this, you will then discover the beautifully presented kitchen/breakfast room which provides a great venue for more informal dining. As with the rest of the house, the kitchen itself is also impeccably presented and includes a fabulous range of appliances and equipment including an electric range oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and a large American style fridge/freezer with an ice maker. Please note, group bookings may be checked to ensure the purpose of the stay is for a holiday, and where relevant, a security deposit may be requested.. Please note the garden is enclosed by hedges, estate fencing, stone walls and raised banks. This may not be secure for more adventurous dogs and therefore we would recommend supervising dogs whilst outside.
