Take a 5 minute walk up the private path to the Cornish cliffs & 10 minutes to local Northcott beach. From there you can beach hop for miles.

Welcome to my home, Morwenna Lodge is by far a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. As a host, I love welcoming excited, happy people and seeing the children shot gun their favourite bedroom which always makes me giggle. I particular enjoy surprising my guests with those little things they may have told me before their stay. For instance a family was having a private chef come to the lodge to cook for them around Christmas, so I set the table like Christmas Day ready for their relaxing stay. I treat my guests like my own family are coming to stay and love their compliments when they first see the lodge as well as the wonderful reviews both in my visitors book and online. I am always adding to the lodge to imagine if I was a guest, what would make it super special? 'e.g I have a new sofa seating area on order ready for my summer guests who will be able to sit out on the decking area for those long summer nights.

Local to the resort is the beautiful Poughill village where the Preston Gate inn serves wonderful food and holds weekly band evening on Tues & Friday. On your way to the Inn pick up some homemade chutneys & jams from Maer cottage. Pay by honesty only :)

Getting around is super simple here, a beautiful walk over the cliffs or down the Maer Lane to Sainsbury & and Bude town. There is plenty of parking if you wish to drive.
