Close to the centre of Bude, the beautiful Victorian seaside town in North Cornwall oozing character and an abundance of charm, Summerleaze House welcomes you, offering 1,300 sq ft of accommodation to comfortably host up to 8 people. Just five minutes’ walk to the beach with its golden sand and surf and surf shops, artisan markets, restaurants, and boutique outlets. Private underground parking is available, and a flight of steps takes you to a pleasant communal outside space. There is a gradient entrance to the side of the property with no steps.
Once inside this New England Townhouse-styled gem, you are greeted with a smart and relaxing lounge. The lounge has a comfortable armchair and twin sofas one of which easily converts to a sofa bed, a décor of grey, blue, white, and cream. Kick back and watch your favourite show on wide TV or just enjoy this calming space. The kitchen-diner has an impressive array of equipment, with a double oven, large fridge-freezer with ice dispenser, washing machine, and dishwasher, giving a real home-from-home feel. The dining table that easily accommodates eight people is a great spot for enjoying any meal prepared and recounting your day’s adventures in the process! Doors then lead you out to your own private, enclosed space with seating for eight guests plus a picnic-style bench; perfect for a little alfresco dining.
Venture upstairs and discover two stunning bedrooms and a family bathroom. The first room has a lovely double bed with quality linens. Bedroom two is equally inviting, with some delightful wall art. The bathroom has a corner bath with a shower over it so that an important luxurious soak can be enjoyed to the full. Stairs then further lead you up where two further bedrooms are revealed, one with twin beds, the second with a super king bed, which can be changed to twin beds upon request for added flexibility. There is a further family bathroom with a corner bath and shower.

We had a fantastic dog friendly beach holiday staying just 5 mins from the beach and close to all local amenities. Summerleaze Beach is not only dog friendly but also great for bodyboarding so it kept everyone happy. The accommodation was clean and bright and was able to sleep 4 adults and 4 teens comfortably. We even managed to fit to large SUV's into the allocated underground parking space which was convenient as we didn't use the cars all the time we were in Bude.

Lovely place, great location and lovely welcome box with local treats. Great to have a parking space and lovely out door space to eat outside when weather is nice. The house is very well stocked with things the only thing we needed that wasn’t there was a can opener. Other than that great property and would definitely return!

Great location, a 5 minute walk to Summerleaze beach which is 1 of our favourite Cornwall beaches.Was a clean property. Beds were a little uncomfortable and pillows could probably do with being replaced as they were quite thin. Wi-Fi was very hit and miss, sometimes not being able to connect at all, even with the WiFi boosters in the house.Also had to go out and buy a tin opener as there wasn't 1 in the property. We had a party of 8. 6 adults, 1 child, a baby and 2 dogs, and there was plenty of room for all of us.All the other necessary items for a self catering holiday were all included. Would definitely recommend but not sure if we would return.
