Guests say

Underlanes in Camelford, Cornwall, receives praise for its cleanliness, quiet location, and friendly host. Guests appreciate the well-equipped property, beautiful views, and proximity to local amenities. While some find the decor dated and mention issues with noise and maintenance, the overall sentiment is positive, with many willing to return.

Most guests report that Underlanes is clean and well-maintained, with no pet odours despite being pet-friendly. However, a few guests noted smells in the kitchen cupboards and on furniture, slightly lowering the score.

The property is appreciated for its quiet location, with easy access to shops, pubs, and local attractions. Some guests were dissatisfied with parking arrangements and the proximity to the adjoining rental, which slightly impacts the score.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the living space ample. However, some guests reported an uncomfortable bed and issues with noise through the adjoining door, which affects the comfort score.

The property is generally seen as well-equipped, but several guests raised concerns about maintenance issues such as a dangerous shower, lack of safety checks on appliances, and insufficient information on how to use facilities.

While guests mention a welcoming host and some positive interactions, there is no consistent mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

Good access as an amputee. Large living room and well equipped kitchen. Bathroom with overhead shower and bath. Two good sized bedrooms and comfortable beds. Spectacular views from windows overlooking fields with sheep and cattle grazing. Loads of piping hot water and washing machine and tumble dryer. Local shop is a ten minute walk and stocks almost anything you may need, pub nearby but didn't use that one much as access was difficult for me but found the Old Wainhouse Inn about four miles away, did fantastic food and very friendly staff. Host Sue was there to greet us on arrival and answered a couple of queries during our stay promptly. Was a carton of milk left for us when we arrived, much appreciated although we did bring our own.
