It does not - it's only the part right at the back of the drive, accessed under the arch. It would be more accurate if the photo of the property was taken from the end of the drive, straight on and showed the rear of the property only. Then folk would know what they're getting. On a plus, the property is in a good location ,right on the Quay - that sadly is where the good news stops. On arrival, the property folder was outside the door, in the rain? Odd! When we opened the door, we were hit with a foul smell, a grimy smell - a cross between a greasy spoon and fustiness. It did not smell like it had been cleaned....it hadn't, except for the bare minimum - clean bed sheets and towels and the porcelain was acceptable. The rest was disgusting and there is so much clutter and dirt and grime intertwined within that clutter that it just made you feel grubby. This wasn't one missed clean, this was a long time worth of inadequate cleaning. I can only suggest that the cleaners are doing the absolute bare minimum. I took photos as we were so disappointed and sent them to the owner and in fairness to her, she was incredibly apologetic and did offer to get a cleaner in on the Saturday or Sunday, but I didn't really want to have to wait around a lose a day whilst cleaners were there and equally, I didn't want to leave cleaners, whose inadequacies had been finally reported, to be in the property without us. Whilst I was grateful for the owners offer - we declined and just did the floors, kitchen (bleach in the sink worked wonders!) and a swift run over the porcelain again. We cleaned the floor on Sunday AM, with next to no footfall through the property (there was only two of us), the mop water was disgusting. There were no basic supplies, as mentioned in the welcome letter - bread, milk etc and no wood for the fire, except a few scraps of kindling. We bought our own wood from bloke in the village. If you're saying that these items are given, please give them. They are a nice to have, but don't over promise and under deliver. The place is grubby and threadbare and could benefit from a massive de-clutter, some new carpets, better lighting (very dingy) and an extensive clean throughout. Additionally, there are many things that don't work (eg - extractor fan, lighting) or leaked (eg under the kitchen sink, the roof in the utility, lean to effort. I'm sorry for the very poor review and I certainly haven't done this lightly, but the place needs sorting and people need to know.

Only a stones throw from the creek , se easy to get into the water for kayaking etc. Enclosed garden was safe for our two dogs and the utility room such a handy space. Facilities were great, 2 fridges, freezer, comfy beds , shower was powerful and hot . Plenty of books, DVDs and games to keep everyone happy. Communication from Sykes and holiday let owner was excellent I would recommend and will hopefully return to stay at Mill Moorings again
