Situated in a perfect location for relaxing and spending time by the river this beautifully furnished and spacious holiday home sits proudly above the tranquil riverside village of Golant, four miles from the popular small sailing town of Fowey. With stunning views from both the large full length balcony and the house itself you will feel totally relaxed from the moment you arrive. Entering Treetops you are immediately taken by the most impressive open plan living room with oak floors, underfloor heating throughout, a double height kitchen area and a comfortable sitting area with floor to ceiling windows to make the most of the splendid river views.
There are three bedrooms, a king size double, a double and a single along with a bathroom and separate shower room. Outside a choice of sitting areas with a gravelled sitting area and the balcony where you can enjoy alfresco dining in one of the most picturesque settings imaginable. There is a space to bring your own dinghy and close by in the village you can hire canoes and kayaks or take guided trips in the safe and sheltered creeks with a real' wind in the willows' feel to enjoy all that makes this such a special setting for a holiday that you will always remember.
Perched on the river Fowey, Golant is a Cornish waterside village offering a Fishermans arms Pub, and a retail art gallery. This charming village, due to the stretch of the River Fowey Golant sits on, has inspired many writers including the author of The Wind in the Willows. 3 miles away is the yachting village of Fowey which is bursting with character. Walk down the cobbled streets accompanied by Georgian historic buildings. with plenty to offer for everyone all year round. There are many family attractions in the area, including Mevagissey and Charlestown harbours, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

The views were amazing. The kitchen was beautiful. We instantly wanted to book again ! but unfortunately the mattresses let it down for us. Too soft and no support, I appreciate everyone has their own preference but imo they need replacing. Truly gutted as we would loved to have returned.
