You are greeted by a beautifully designed kitchen diner fully equipped and offering cosy river views through a low-set window that lets in soft natural light. The living room also overlooks the water and is a Yes retreat, with a Smart TV, plush sofa, twin chairs, and whimsical, nautical-inspired lighting that gives the room a welcoming glow. On the first floor, you’ll find two serene bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed and elegant, timeless decor, while the second bedroom offers twin beds with peaceful riverside views. The family bathroom on this floor is a chic oasis with a charming slipper bath and a spacious double shower. Returning to the ground floor, stairs lead down to a cosy third bedroom with a double bed, en-suite toilet, and charmingly low ceilings that add unique character. This level also provides direct access to a patio and sun deck, where you can enjoy leisurely al fresco dining or unwind with a sundowner after a day of exploring. Just outside your door, Fowey’s historic streets and unique architecture await.

A lovely property, very well-appointed with stunning river views in a fantastic location with shops, bars and restaurants/cafes within easy walking distance. Crew Quarters really felt like a home from home. It was beautifully decorated and scrupulously clean. The only part that could have been improved was the outside area where there is a lovely little patio overlooking the Sailing Club and the river. This could have been checked over as there were cigarette butts on the floor, but the house itself was immaculate. We had a great week at Fowey and also travelled to Mevagissey, Polperro, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Looe, Par/St Austell and Truro (all within easy reach). There are lots of places to eat and drink in Fowey itself and we enjoyed dining at many of them including The Ship, The Galleon, Haveners, Brown Sugar Cafe, Cornish Bakery cafe, Sunny Spice and the Harbour Hotel. There are some great little shops and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were unanimous that we would be happy to visit both Crew Quarters and Fowey again. Thank you for a great holiday!
