This little community and civil parish are located in south Cornwall at the River Fowey's mouth. The River Fowey's estuary creates a natural harbour, which allowed the town to develop into a significant trading hub. There are many sights and activities in and around the harbour. You are sure to find something for the whole family, whether you like spending time on the sea, playing golf, or learning more about the local history. For those who are feeling more adventurous, you can rent your own self-drive boat, kayak, or paddle board and explore the waters on your own. Harbour cruises leave the Town Quay often during the season, offering you a fantastic perspective of the town. Why not take a tour of either Fowey or Polruan? The town is rich in history. Additionally, you can take pottery or painting classes, play golf, go horseback riding, or participate in an owl encounter. Along with Readymoney Cove, there is the aquarium, museum, St. Catherine's Castle, and more that are just waiting to be discovered. There are many pubs, inns, cafes, and restaurants to pick from if you are hungry or want something to quench your thirst while travelling. Whenever you decide to go, keep an eye out for any ongoing festivals, fairs, markets, or theatrical performances. Staff on site warm and friendly. Beds an issue, mattress’s on all the beds are cheap quality. Single mattress’s the springs can be felt, if you sat in the middle of the double it almost folds in half. Might be a good idea to check toilet brushes in both bathrooms they were very grim

Friendly staff on site. 15 min walk to car ferry which ran frequently across to Fowey until 8.30ish in evening. Lots of restaurants to choose from in Fowey but needed to book meals early to catch last ferry. Water taxis are available but we didn't use them as called into the Ferry Inn on the quayside in Bodinnick for evening drink. Friendly staff with good choice of drinks and food. Lovely coastal walks from property with beautiful views. Loved our stay and hope to return again soon.
