Should you wish to venture out of the grounds, there s plenty to discover nearby, including the north coast of Cornwall, with its many lovely sandy beaches and pretty seaside villages, as well as the dramatic landscapes of Bodmin Moor, where there are plenty of fantastic walks and cycle rides to be had. The town of Bude is just a 20 minute drive away and offers a wide choice of shops, pubs and restaurants, alongside a leisure pool, golf course and canal, for an enjoyable day out. Also within a reasonable driving distance are Padstow, Boscastle and Tintagel.
