Guests say

Trebellan Lodge in Liskeard, Cornwall, receives high praise for its cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the peaceful location and the property's proximity to local attractions. The lodge is described as a home away from home, with a welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful touches that contribute to a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Reviewers consistently mention the cleanliness of Trebellan, with thanks given to Clare for maintaining its tidiness. The property is noted to be clean upon arrival, contributing to guests' comfort and satisfaction.

The lodge's central location is appreciated for its convenience to nearby places of interest like Looe, Polperro, and Talland Bay. However, some guests note the narrow local lanes can be challenging, and the distance to beaches is a consideration.

Guests find the lodge comfortable, with special mentions of the comfortable beds and the property being well laid out. Some concerns about low sofas and high light switches for those with limited mobility are noted but do not detract significantly from the overall comfort.

The facilities at Trebellan are highly regarded, with the property described as well-equipped for guests' needs. The absence of BBQ facilities and waterproof duvet protectors are minor drawbacks mentioned in an otherwise excellent provision of amenities.

While the reviews reflect a positive experience, there is no specific mention of gifts or special thoughtful gestures that would warrant a score in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

It is within driving distance of a number if attractions such as the Eden Project, Adrenalin Quarry, Polperro and Looe (take the train!) The chalet was well presented and clean and having a washing machine was a bonus with a family of 5. Beds were comfy but the sofas were a bit squishy and smelt a bit doggish (sorry!). Also we couldn't get the bathroom door to lock. A nightlight may be useful in the lounge for any night time visits to the bathroom. Finally, it would be nice to have a small welcome such as a pack of biscuits or cake. Overall though, we had a lovely stay, thank you.

Kevin and Gill have created a wonderful place to stay when visiting Cornwall, we'd definitely stay there again!

Plenty of room, clean, loads of kitchen utensils etc.cleaning products in the cupboard. We will definitely book again. The owner was extremely helpful and available for any queries. Cornwall weather wasn’t kind to us but didn’t spoil our stay!!
