The historic market town of Liskeard is located in South East Cornwall at the head of the Looe Valley, and is home to a number of shops, pubs and restaurants. The beaches and harbour of the quaint fishing port of Looe is a mere 13 miles away. In-between there's fishing and watersports at nearby Siblyback Lake, Cotehele House (NT) and gardens, and the championship golf course at St Mellion Country Club. Head to the world famous Eden Project for a superb day out with the children. Even the maritime city of Plymouth with its historic Barbican docks area, outstanding shops, theatres and restaurants and the National Maritime Museum is only 40 minutes by car.

The beds are 10/10 comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked, even has cleaning stuff available. Lovely quiet area with lots of amazing places to visit within a reasonable distance. 10/10 would recommend.

The tv kept turning itself off, we contacted the owner, he lived a long way away, but offered to buy a new one and expected us to collect it and set it up, we refused, he then said he would try to get someone to fix it, but it may take time. My partner had a look and discovered there was a problem with the ariel, we advised the owner and heard no more from him. One morning we discovered a black creature in the sink in the kitchen, we belive it to be a large about 3", cockroach. On the day we left we discovered a slug on the carpet in the living room.
