Looe being the fictional town of Shipton Abbott, for the Beyond Paradise fans. During filming the crew and cast of the show are sited at the back of Granite Henge. The costal path is also very near by. This delightful property offers a perfect getaway for those seeking a tranquil retreat. With its two bedrooms, it’s an ideal space for families, couples, and friends to unwind. The bungalow is semi-detached with the adjoining property Deer’s Holt, which can also be reserved for larger groups, ensuring ample space for multiple friends or two families getting away from it all. Step inside to discover an inviting open-plan layout that seamlessly combines the dining, living, and kitchen areas. The twin and double bedrooms provide comfortable accommodation, while the shower room boasts a convenient shower cubicle. Plenty of external seating areas around the pool for al fresco dining.
A highlight of the property is the heated swimming pool, available for enjoyment from May to September. Please note that the pool is unstaffed, and safety regulations require adult supervision for those under 16, children under the age of 4 ½ are unfortunately not permitted in the pool, due to insurance restrictions. This family-friendly complex is equally suitable for the elderly, as both the bungalow and the complex are single-level and easily accessible with a private parking bay for your use.
Banks Voles Nest is a haven for unique insects, butterflies, birds, and mammals. This is the first time we have rented a small(compact) property, which was ok at first sight. We had problems with the wifi only lasting a few minutes at a time, the owner did give us another wifi connection which lasted 20/30 mins on one laptop. Couldn't connect our other laptop at the same time. bathroom heating could do with an upgrade, as only warm from the radiator. Shower pressure was weak, so couldn't enjoy very well. The cottage was clean and tidy except for dead fly's in the bathroom light. Lack of kitchen paper towels (none) and main spare bin liners, good job we had some with us. Noticed no re-cycling facilities !! strange. We thought that there was a restaurant and gym within the site ? when we first looked at booking.

Beautifully clean and comfortable, a home from home. Reclining seats, good sized television, and one in the bedroom. All the appliances were easy to use, a first for us, they are usually difficult to work out. Dedicated parking space.The heated pool was a bonus, enjoyed it.
