Guests say

Blue Bay Beach House in Newquay, Cornwall, is a spacious property with stunning views, well-suited for large gatherings. Guests have celebrated special occasions here, enjoying the ample room, en-suite bathrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen. The garden with a hot tub is a highlight, adding to the comfort of the stay. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the house's location and the welcoming nature of the hosts contribute to a memorable experience.

Guests have indicated that the property could benefit from a deeper clean, with some surfaces and glassware needing attention upon arrival. However, fresh towels and bedding were appreciated, suggesting that while improvements could be made, the overall cleanliness is satisfactory.

The property boasts beautiful views and a desirable location close to the beach and local amenities. Despite the steep walk back from the beach, the location is highly praised for its scenery and convenience.

The majority of guests found the property comfortable, with plenty of space, comfortable beds, and a homely atmosphere. The provision of en-suite bathrooms and large communal areas contributed to the comfort of the stay.

The property is well-equipped for large parties, with a kitchen that has all the necessary items for self-catering. The hot tub is a popular feature. Some guests mentioned that certain areas are a bit tired and in need of updating, and there were comments about dampness in annex rooms.

Stayed for 1 week as an extended family of 13 plus 3 dogs for a birthday celebration. Owners were very welcoming and friendly. Responded promptly to any little issues( it was a bit cool one night and we couldn’t work the heating out) Lovely comfortable beds and fresh top quality bed linen and towels. Nice big communal dining area great for get togethers. amazing sea views from almost everywhere in the house. The house overall is really well equipped, everything you could need is in there. 4 fridges and 2 dishwashers, Washer and tumble dryer and vacuum provided for if needed. Hot tub was amazing !! And very well used throughout our stay. Lovely out door party area, plenty of seating. Couple of outdoor chairs needed replacing as broken, and baking/ oven trays need replacing but minor bits really. Would love to return again.

It is well kitted out but quite grubby and not as clean as previous houses we have rented. Rooms and bathrooms in need of updating.
