Parque floors and reeded glass from the home’s original design have been retained, with modern balustrades, split levels and indoor/outdoor living adding a contemporary feel. At its heart, the vast kitchen with a large island makes cooking and entertaining a thoroughly sociable affair, while a snug offers somewhere quieter to curl up with a favourite book or magazine. The spacious adjoining lounge has ample seating, a smart TV, drinks bar, air hockey table and wide double doors that open onto the terrace, so this is where you’ll while away most of your time together,
Perfectly positioned for lunch in the sunshine or evenings after a day at the beach, the terrace is a dream, flaunting views over Fistral Beach that can be enjoyed any time of the day. A large lawn offers plenty of space for children to play, dogs to stretch their legs, and adults to sunbathe. At the end of the garden, a private gate leads towards Fistral Beach, making it easy to reach the sand and surf whenever the mood takes you.
There are four beautiful bedrooms to choose from – one on the ground floor and three upstairs. The upper floor bedrooms have wonderful views across Fistral and include a sprawling master bedroom with its own spacious en-suite, Juliet balcony, and walk-in dressing room.
One of the best things about staying on Pentire is that you don’t need to drive to experience the best of Newquay. Walk down to Fistral Beach for a morning swim or surf, have breakfast at Seaspray Café overlooking the waves, or an afternoon on the sand before wandering home through the garden gate. Guests can also reach Crantock Beach by walking around 10 minutes to the Fern Pit Café, where a seasonal foot ferry and cliff side path take you across to one of Cornwall’s most beautiful and sheltered stretches of sand, perfect for swimming, relaxing or exploring the dunes. In the evening, some of Newquay's best reviewed restaurants are within easy reach, like Sixty Bistro (5 minutes’ walk), and The Fish House, Rick Stein Fistral (16 minutes’ walk along the coast path).
If you don’t mind a 5-minute drive, there are many more to choose from, like Adam Handling’s Ugly Butterfly, Moules & Co, and Graze Tapas. In the other direction, the peaceful Gannel Estuary offers paddleboarding, kayaking and scenic walks, while the South West Coast Path is right on your doorstep.

Living Room
A few steps down from the kitchen, the living room is utterly show-stopping, with stunning beach and ocean views, tons of space, and doors that lead out to the terrace and garden. An enormous L-shaped sofa sits in the middle of the room, with a fabulous drinks bar and bar seats alongside. There’s a table with benches for boardgames and dining, an air hockey table, a Smart TV with Freeview, a Blu-ray player, DVD player and Bluetooth speaker
Snug
At the far end of the kitchen / dining area, a snug with two armchairs and a table makes a lovely spot to catch up on a book or relax with views of the beach and sea
Kitchen
The huge kitchen is thoroughly kitted out with all you’ll need for cooking and entertaining and includes an electric oven and grill, induction hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, wine fridge, boiling water tap, kettle, toaster and cafetière. A breakfast island with four chairs creates another sociable spot for hanging out while dinner’s being prepared
The kitchen/ dining room has electric blinds and fantastic beach and sea views
Utility
Down a corridor from the kitchen, the separate utility room has a door to outside and houses a washing machine and tumble dryer, with a store cupboard for the vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board.
Dining Areas
The main dining space has superb views across Fistral Beach, is open with the kitchen, and is furnished with a table with six chairs. A second, informal dining table with two benches is in the living room
Bedroom One
This lovely ground floor bedroom is off the entrance hallway and features a super king-size bed (which can be arranged as twins on request), a Smart TV (with Freeview), bedside tables, lamps, and a chest of drawers
Bedroom Two
This first floor bedroom with wide views across Fistral Beach and the ocean, has a king-size (which can be arranged as twins on request), a built-in wardrobe, bedside tables, lamps, a mirror and a chest of drawers
Bedroom Three
Also on the first floor, Bedroom Three has the same fantastic beach and ocean views and is furnished with a king-size (which can be arranged as twins on request), a built-in wardrobe, bedside tables, lamps and a mirror
Bedroom Four (en-suite)
Down one step from the first-floor hallway, the huge master bedroom is gorgeous and airy with doors that open to a Juliet balcony and wonderful views. Furnished with a king-size bed, a built-in wardrobe, a chaise longes, a chest of drawers, a seating area with table, and a small desk and chair. This room also has a walk-in wardrobe with a dressing table, as well as its own large en-suite bathroom
Cloakroom
Just off the entrance hall, the ground floor cloakroom has a hand basin, WC and cabinet
Bathroom One
On the first floor, this bathroom includes a walk-in shower, bath, hand basin, cabinet, mirror, and heated towel rail, while the WC is in the adjoining room

Bedroom Four's en suite includes both a bath and separate shower, together with a hand basin, WC, bidet, heated towel rail, shaver point, mirrored cabinet and handheld shower attachment
Outside
The large back garden is the perfect place to make the most of the views, with a big lawn for lazing or playing games in the sunshine. A spacious patio provides an elevated spot for outdoor dining with a table and chairs, and occasional seating. A stepping-stone path in the garden leads down to a gate, and although it doesn't take you directly onto the sand, it’s a handy shortcut that allows guests to reach Fistral Beach in a couple of minutes
Parking
The garage isn't available to guests however there is private parking for up to three cars on the front drive. One parking space is accessed through the gate on the right-hand side of the property and two spaces through the left gate, however this side doesn't have a dropped kerb. Street parking is available nearby on a first come, first served basis.
