The Perranporth Premier Lodge in Newquay offers a warm welcome and a convenient location close to the town centre, with some guests enjoying the facilities and praising the friendly staff. Arrival Information: Darwin Escapes check-in’s are available from 16:00. If you are likely to arrive later than 18:00, please call our resort reception team on 01726 860 415 to let them know. Please note any guests under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Departure Information: Check out time is at 10:00am on the day of your departure. Darwin Escapes kindly ask that you leave your accommodation as you found it.
Hot Tub Information: Please note due to water change and maintenance your hot tub may not be up to the correct temperature when you first arrive. (In Premier accommodation only) By using the hot tub you are agreeing to Darwin Escapes’ terms and conditions, and agreeing that you have read their hot tub safety information, found here.
Travel cot hire: You can request a travel cot on your booking. Please note, there is no bedding provided and the mattresses are folding, thin and firm and is provided by manufacturer. We require you to follow the safety instructions, which state not to use a secondary mattress or any padded bedding such as pillows or quilts. You must bring your own bedding (e.g infant sleep bags). Please contact reception for mattress dimensions should you require. For further information on safe sleeping in travel cots please refer to information available from sites such as the Lullaby Trust. Important travel COT information Manufacturers instructions are provided at the point of issue and cots are cleaned in line with these after each use. Please also be aware that travel cots may not fit in double/master bedrooms in selected units, please call reception on 01726 860 415 for more information if a cot is needed.
Pets: Please make sure that you have included your pet in your booking. If your pet is not included, Darwin Escapes will either relocate you to a pet-friendly lodge, if there is one available, or holds the right to refuse access to the resort. You may be liable for any charges incurred.
Group Bookings/Party Types: A security deposit may be requested on arrival. No Work vehicles or Workwear will be permitted on site. Un-authorised Work Parties will not be allowed to stay. Group bookings are not permitted on-site in December unless pre-approved by the park.

Hot Tubs in Premier Accommodation: Please be aware the hot tub may not be up to temperature when you first arrive due to water change and maintenance.
Departure Information: Please ensure you leave the accommodation by 09:00am on your day of departure.
Pets: Please note, if you are planning on bringing your pet or animal on holiday, this must be included in your party make up when booking. If you arrive on holiday with an undeclared pet/animal, the park operators are entitled to either relocate you to suitable pet/animal-friendly accommodation (if available) or refuse access to the Park. You may also be liable for any Pet charge, cleaning costs and/or relocation costs incurred. Please check with the retreat prior to including any extra pets. Any pets arriving undeclared could be asked to leave the retreat if there is no pet accommodation available.

In line with government guidance and to ensure you and your family are safe during your stay all leisure facilities, restaurants and bars are currently closed to guests. A takeaway and delivery service will be available from restaurants and bistros.
Please note - Piran Meadows Resort have a scheduled power outage on the 28th June 2022 for approx. 1hr between 8am - 10am. We apologies for any inconvenience this may caused.
Piran Meadows Resort have been informed by the National Grid that they have a planned power cut which will affect Piran Meadows resort. The works will take place on Friday 2nd December 2022 between 16:00– 18:00. Due to this, alternative arrival times are as per the below - Check in between 14:00- 16:00pm or from 18:00pm onwards. Please note the power will be off from 16:00-18:00pm.

Lovely pleasant greeting, nice glass of sparkling wine on arrival. Check in very simple. Arrived at the Lodge, it was warm, clean and well equipped. Hot tub was spotless and at temperature. We did hit a few issues. The boiler stopped working during the first night and the hottub temperature seemed to drop as it was programmed to ECO mode. The maintenance staff sorted out both issues pretty swiftly. Enjoyed it that much that we didn't want to go home so we extended for an extra night and booked to go again in 2 months.

Generally fine and ok got the moneybut place is shabby. Small gripes were that they had our booking as for only 1 person for some reason so think not properly prepped; not enough toilet rolls. Sheets didnt fit kids beds and kept coming off. Place smelt bit funny when first got in and sofas had funny smell. No chopping board. Big flood before entrance to site. Made it through but asked for diversion and was given crazy route but it turned out there was much simpler route. No acces to swimming pool and other facilities for kids. Hot tub ok but bits of it were broken and didnt work. Also no mat by door do floor got all wet.

Review of Stay: 21/11/25–24/11/25We stayed here for a long weekend and, unfortunately, the experience wasn’t what we hoped for. Check-in itself was smooth, but things went downhill once we arrived at the van. There was a very strong, unpleasant smell inside that’s hard to even describe. The carpets and walls had visible marks, and the curtains were also stained, which didn’t give a great first impression.We had called a few days before our stay to ask about entertainment on the park and were told there would be evening entertainment. However, once we arrived, there was no entertainment at all. When we went into the lounge and asked if they could put the football on, we were told they had it available but wouldn’t put it on—even though we were the only people in the lounge at the time.The on-site shop did exist, but it was very minimally stocked, with only basic items like biscuits and bin bags.By the end of our stay, several of us became unwell. We can’t say for certain where it came from, but it did feel like more than a coincidence given the overall lack of cleanliness in the van. We also noticed small bites on our bodies after leaving, which was worrying.Overall, the stay was disappointing, and we wouldn’t return based on this experience.
