The Rio sets a new level for caravan holidays and are fitted out to a high spec, including flat-screen televisions, fitted kitchen, master bedroom with double bed, a twin bedroom and pull-out in the lounge. The Rio are comfortable, double glazed, central heated and has a pull-out settee conversion in living room as well.

Duvets and pillows are provided for all beds. Linen sets can be purchased before arrival for £10 per bed, if you do not purchase linen you will need to bring your own with you.

We hired a static home, one of the ' Rio ' homes. The site is well managed and maintained. It is a private area where vehicles have to pass through barriers, so only people staying can enter the site with their vehicles. Which is very good, no one else driving around. There are 'campers' on the site. There is a block for showers, washing up, washing clothes, toilets. The home was very clean and tidy, with all the facilities required, note, there is no washing machine, but there are facilities in the block at £5. We took our own bedding, an extra charge is required if you would like to use the Holiday Parks own bedding. The lovely Port Beach is a few minutes walk away. You do have to cross the road to access the beach, the road is not too busy and there is a traffic island to help cross. There is also local bus stops here by the beach. When the tide is out, the clean sandy areas are vast, so may take a while to walk to the sea, with plenty of room to set up and relax. Coastguards are present on the beach. The location is close to Newquay for shops etc and fiscal beach, for the surfers. All the staff were friendly, including the ground staff. The Holiday park site was clean and tidy.

Fab Caravan, Lovely size. As mentioned could benefit from a new mattress and maybe sofa cushions as they are a little worn and can feel the springs/lack of them but overall we would book here again

The site itself is perfectly located on Porth Beach. The beach isn’t the nicest but has a nice pub, shop, coffee shop and pizza restaurant. The site itself is spotlessly clean. On arrival to our caravan the outside area was messy with rubbish and beer bottle lids. The van itself was not cleaned to a high quality, with stains on the carpet and upholstery. The bathroom floor was filthy.The kitchen was disgusting, with a broken jug, and grease covering the knife rack. I had to clean the fridge before I could put any of our food in. I didn’t cook in the van all week as it was filthy.We wouldn’t stay again. For the price for the school holidays it was ok, but I would still expect a clean place to stay.
