Wildwood is a highly praised cottage in Cornwall, consistently described as comfortable, well-equipped, and welcoming, particularly for dog owners. Guests appreciate its peaceful location near Newquay, the secure garden, and the thoughtful welcome packs. The property is noted for its cleanliness, cosy atmosphere, and modern amenities, making it an ideal retreat for both relaxation and exploring the surrounding areas.
Guests have highlighted the cleanliness of Wildwood, mentioning clean bathrooms and overall tidiness. The property's upkeep appears to be of a high standard, contributing to the positive experiences reported.
The location is frequently described as peaceful and picturesque, with easy access to Newquay and nearby beaches. While one review mentioned difficulty with access via a ford, the seclusion and proximity to amenities have been well-received overall.
Comfort is a standout feature, with guests finding the beds very comfortable and the house cosy and warm. The property's insulation and heating are noted, although one guest found it a bit too warm, suggesting a minor issue with temperature management.
Facilities are highly regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen, fast broadband, and smart TVs. The secure garden and maintenance response to an appliance issue demonstrate good facilities and maintenance. However, the score is slightly lowered due to the mentioned heating management and the ford access.
The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident through the welcome packs, which include local delicacies and treats for dogs. While these gifts contribute to the guests' enjoyment, it is important to note that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed with every stay.

The house on arrival was very welcoming, loved the scones and biscuits, thank you. The house was really nice and lovely and clean. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking meals, the enclosed garden was great for our dog Teddy, he loved his first beach holiday. The area is very tranquil, it was so nice to be away from city noise!

The building was comfortable for a family of 4 adults and the kitchen was well equipped and enabled us to cook some good meals. The pasties from the local farm shop were some of the best we've had. We have already booked again for next year.
