Plan a getaway to this charming retreat in beautiful Padstow. This cottage will comfortably house a family and a friend or two, stylishly decorated throughout, and is ideally located with easy access to amenities. The location is central but the cottage is quiet so you can rest easy before heading out to enjoy Cornwall.
As you enter the cottage you’ll find a large lounge with a wood burner. There’s a 48" Smart TV with Sky sports which is ideal for movie nights or you can clear the coffee table and set up board games. Through an exposed brick archway you’ll see the dining room, which has space for all the guests and is naturally lit through glass patio doors when the sun’s up. There’s a breakfast bar on one side which joins the kitchen, a gleaming and modern room complete with a coffee machine so you can enjoy delicious drinks to start the day off just right. Head upstairs to find the three bedrooms. First, there’s are two king bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom featuring a dual shower, the other features distant estuary views, and then there’s a bunk bedroom. To the rear of the property is a garden enclosed with a wooden fence. You’ll see a lawn, paved area and patio furniture for outdoor meals, there is also a summerhouse for secure storage of bikes or surf boards.
Padstow is a fun town with plenty to explore. Take a day to visit the shops, try the local food and look out for seasonal events. There are sea safaris which leave from the harbour where you can spot dolphins, whales, puffins and much more. The Eden Project is another great spot for a day out, located 19.5 miles from the property. For surfing, go to Trevone Bay (2 miles) and for walks try Gunver Head (3 miles).
