After parking up and unpacking, make yourself fully at home in your new dwelling, where the chosen chef can get to work in the fully-equipped kitchen, filled with all the appliances required to rustle up a delicious, home-cooked meal that can be savoured around the dining table before you settle down to watch a film or two in the well-appointed sitting area. When sleep calls, be sure to refresh with a rejuvenating shower or a restorative bath before you head for a well-earned rest in either a plush double or twin bedroom. After you've polished off your morning coffee, take a brief stroll into the centre of Padstow, where you'll find an abundance of things to do and see. Stock up on essentials at the nearby Tesco Superstore; pick up some trinkets at Stein's Gift Shop; grab a Cornish pasty from The Cornish Bakery, before settling down for traditional pub lunch at the Old Custom House, Padstow, which overlooks the tranquil spot of Padstow Harbour, or sample some local produce at Rick Stein’s, The Seafood Restaurant. Within the area you’ll also find a plethora of clothes shops, gift shops and independent boutiques to ease your stay. If you fancy a day trip out of town, a brief car journey east along the coast will bring you to nearby Polzeath, where you can find the stunning nature reserve of Pentire Point, snap some gorgeous photos from the viewpoint of The Rumps, or even just spend an afternoon sunbathing on the soft sands of Polzeath Beach. A hiccup when we arrived! It had not been cleaned or towels and beds changed, having contacted Sykes they said would contact owner/cleaner. This was after 5pm when we arrived. No one contacted us to say someone was coming, we sat there waiting! Finally got to speak to owner who confirmed some one on their way. Eventually arrived after 8pm! Dare not go out for some dinner , so after they had gone , cheese on toast for dinner! Apart from that hiccup the rest of stay was fine, although for me the bed was far to firm, did not sleep well, did consider sleeping on the couch!!!!

Fully equipped kitchen and having a washer dryer was a bonus especially with 2 young children. Only a 10 minute walk into Padstow harbour which meant we could leave the vehicle at the property.

10 minute walk into the village with the bonus of parking. Had everything you needed for a relaxing stay.
