Perfectly located for beach and walking holidays, this spacious cottage is set a few minutes' walk to the beach at Harlyn Bay, considered one of the best family beaches in Cornwall. 3 miles west of Padstow on the stunning North Cornish Coast and 2 minutes' walk to the South West Coast Path, this is the ideal setting for memorable holidays. After parking in 1 of your 2 private spaces right in front of the cottage, you enter the cottage into the open-plan living room. Comfy sofas, a dining area overlooking the garden and a well equipped kitchen are included. On the first floor is the family bathroom and the three bedrooms, all of which have a TV.
The bunk bedroom is ideal for the children, a double with a dressing table and the master with a king bed, a dressing table and an en-suite shower, WC and basin. Outside at the rear of the cottage is an enclosed garden with a table and chairs for alfresco dining. Adjoining the garden and patio is a small field for which you have private use, ideal for exercising both pets and children. With Padstow and St Merryn both close by you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to dining out. The ideal family cottage in a wonderful location for a great Cornish coastal holiday.
Harlyn Bay rests on the North Cornwall Coast, along the South West Coast Path. It is known as one of the most popular family beaches in Cornwall. St Merryn is a village close by with a choice of charming local facilities including handy shops and characterful pubs. Travel the coastline abundant in sandy beaches and displaying marvellous views. There was plenty of space for us all. We really appreciated the reclining sofas and the large ensuite bedroom in particular and outside we loved the sunny patio and the fantastic field. Willow loved the space and it had plenty of shade for her during the very sunny week we had. The welcome cake and cream tea was lovely and we have to mention the power shower - same as ours at home but even more powerful. There were plenty of toilet rolls and cleaning goods and a good vacuum. It is a lovely holiday home - our favourite to date, and we liked it so much and had such a relaxing holiday, we've booked for next year. Thank you to the owner, Chris.
