Gas central heating, gas, electricity and bed linen included. Small front enclosed garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ. Shared patio to rear. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. This converted former barn enjoys a pleasant Mediterranean feel, with its open plan design and tiled floor. Set within a peaceful courtyard, surrounded by open farmland and adjoining other holiday cottages, it lies 1-mile from Padstow with its quaint harbour, selection of fine restaurants, many interesting shops, waterborne activities and golf nearby. Spectacular sandy beaches, coves and coastal walks can be found 2 miles away. Sea Shells has an enclosed south-facing patio to the front, and a shared patio area to the rear with its own barbecue. Presented to a high standard, Sea Shells is superbly situated to enjoy the scenic North Cornwall Coast. Shops, pub and restaurants 1 mile.

Cottage is in a great location, a mile from Padstow. A 20 minute walk if you can manage the steep hill back. The enclosed front garden with table & chairs is ideal with sun in the evening. The shared courtyard is too small for use by 2 cottages, with only 2 chairs & kettle bbq but has morning sun & evening shade. Parking is good. The pre arrival contact information was inaccurate & needs updating. .The cottage was a good size for 2 people. Cleanliness could be improved. We found the previous occupants bread & half packet of biscuits in the bread bin & opened peas in the freezer. Bed was creaky & mattress not very comfortable but bedding was lovely, soft & fresh. I took an electric fan as weather hot. Bunk beds are squeezed into an upstairs landing area & only suitable for small children as can’t stand up due to being in the roof space. Plenty of clothes storage. Bathroom was okay but no towels provided but we knew that. Shower is in the bath. Not user friendly for anyone with mobility issues. Overall the cottage is in a good location and parking is easy but could be cleaned better & a new bed would be helpful due to the constant creak every time we moved. Information in the cottage needs updating & it would be helpful to state wifi name in addition to the code. WiFi drops out a lot but phone signal was good. It works as a good base for Padstow & surrounding areas.

Had a great time at sea shells cottage just a couple of minor issues the bed was extremely squeaky,the bunk beds were on the landing and lucky we had a small adult as he would of not been able to get in the thing , and no towels provided i didn't see that on the website as I would of brought my own ,overall a good time had by all apart from the weather!.

Very well equipped, clean and in a good location.We inherited dirty microwave which showed signs of sugar burning but functioned growling.The contact details online were incorrect and the instructions needed updating.However, it was a comfortable stay in a lovely area.
