It overlooks the garden towards the sea and there are more lovely coastal views from the first floor. Outside, there is a small front garden, while the rear courtyard garden has patio furniture from where you can drink in the view across Mount’s Bay.
A ramp gives easy access to Perranuthnoe’s golden beach, favoured by families and surfers alike for its large expanse of golden sand and rock pools. While seasonal restrictions apply, dogs can romp free on the beach during the rest of the year. A short, 200-metre stroll along the South West Coast Path rewards you with a sudden view of St Michael’s Mount at Marazion. The island is home to a medieval castle; depending on the tide, you can walk along the ancient causeway or hop on the ferry boat from Marazion (1.5 miles). From this charming village, you can walk or cycle along the 2-mile footpath to Penzance.
