16 Forth An Nance is a semi-detached holiday home located just moments from the beach in Portreath, Cornwall, making it a well-placed base for families and groups of up to eight guests looking to enjoy the coast. Inside, the property offers a practical layout with a sitting room for relaxing after a day outdoors, alongside a separate dining room for shared meals with quality conversation with loved ones. From here, there is a sun room providing an additional space to unwind, and the kitchen is well arranged for preparing family favourites, while the cloakroom on the ground floor adds everyday convenience.
Upstairs, four bedrooms provide flexible sleeping accommodation, including a king-size bedroom with a balcony and basin, along with a double, a twin and a bunk bedroom, making it suitable for a mix of adults and children. The family bathroom features a bath with shower over, basin, bidet and WC, completing the internal accommodation. Outside, there is an enclosed front garden with lawn and patio, offering space to enjoy fresh coastal air, as well as a rear enclosed courtyard. The shop and pub are just a stroll away, while Portreath’s sandy beach and harbour are right on the doorstep, ideal for coastal walks and seaside days.
The South West Coast Path runs through the village, offering scenic routes towards Godrevy and St Agnes, while Tehidy Country Park provides woodland walks and open spaces nearby. Redruth, Truro and Hayle are all within easy reach for shopping, dining and days out, with beaches, gardens and attractions dotted along this stretch of the Cornish coast. 16 Forth An Nance offers a convenient and well-located base for exploring Cornwall’s coastline and surrounding towns.
With its sheltered harbour, beautiful Portreath was, in the 1800s, a hive of activity and industry as a major tin-exporting port. Today, the village attracts visitors from around the world with its wild and rugged coastline. High cliffs, secluded coves and sandy, surf-washed beaches typify the area while all around are reminders of the area's rich industrial heritage. Portreath offers a small fishing harbour, shops, a number of pubs, three cafés and a Chinese restaurant, while its safe, sheltered sandy beach is a popular attraction. For a great day out, visit the cathedral city of Truro with its cobbled streets, shopping centre, theatre, museum and great restaurants, just 14 miles away, or travel a few miles along the coast and follow the vast expanse of sandy beach, which leads down to Hayle and on to St Ives. A delightful holiday location.
