No smoking. 2 bedrooms fully refurbished in January 25 and 1 bedroom partially refurbished in January 25. Eagles Nest is a lovely lodge-style, detached property set on a private estate of just twenty lodges within a 30-acre woodland valley. The estate adjoins the fairways of the St Mellion Golf and Country Club and the famous Jack Nicklaus Golf Course, one of the finest golf courses in Europe. This Scandanavian-style lodge has open plan living accommodation with balconies on both sides, and a large decked terrace leading off the kitchen. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom or shower, making sharing with friends very accommodating.
Eagles Nest is a perfect holiday base for families, friends or couples wishing to take either an extended break or a few days away at any time of the year. The property is tucked away in a quiet, rural area just outside the village of St Mellion and makes a great location for exploring the wider region of Cornwall. St Mellion itself is almost midway between the north and south coasts in the Tamar Valley area. Beach 13 miles. Shop and pub/restaurant 3 miles.

We recently stayed at Eagles Nest and had a fantastic experience. The property was extremely well equipped — plenty of pots, pans, and kitchen appliances, which made cooking really easy. The whole place was spotless when we arrived, and finding the property was simple with clear directions. The key lockbox was also very convenient.The location is peaceful and quiet. Even though there are other properties nearby, we felt we had more than enough privacy. The upstairs did get quite hot, but once we opened the windows and doors the temperature became much more manageable. A couple of fans would make it even better on warmer days.One small tip for future guests: if you like to have a tea or coffee as soon as you arrive, bring your own supplies as these aren’t provided.The water pressure was excellent — the showers were great — and everything in the house worked perfectly. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Eagles Nest. We’d happily return.
