A fantastic base for a family of six's Cornish getaway, Furness is within reach of a range of brilliant sights and attractions, including the Eden Project and Roche Rock which are just a short drive away. Due to the location it is a perfect spot for exploring the whole of Cornwall. After parking in one of the generous off-road parking spaces on arrival, make your way inside and be welcomed by a delightful kitchen/diner, a well-equipped space hosting everything you need to make delicious, homecooked meals, including an electric cooker! Once these tasty dishes have been made, these can be enjoyed at the dining tables of the kitchen/diner, or outside on the sunny patio. Continue to the living room, where a large, velvet corner sofa entices you to settle down with your favourite tipple in front of the electric fire and Smart TV. As the day draws to a close, choose between one of three lovely bedrooms on the first floor, all of which enjoy neutral tones and charming exposed beams, including a super king and two twins. A bathroom completes the interior, where you can enjoy a relaxing soak in the bath before wandering out to explore what the area has to offer. A relaxing stay awaits at Furness. Roche and neighbouring Lanivet both have a modest range of shops and pubs and are located six miles from Bodmin, close off the A30. Agriculture is the main industry in the area, and the terrain is lush, green, and undulating. With the wide open areas of Bodmin Moor just six miles away and the ruggedly gorgeous north coast with its rocky coves, steep cliffs, and superb surfing beaches just thirty minutes by vehicle, it's ideal for seeing the region of Cornwall.

The sitting room area is a great place to lounge around in comfort after a day out. Easily big enough for 6 adults. We all found the beds a little hard and think they could benefit from some sort of memory foam topper mattress. The enclosed courtyard area would be great to sit out in (had the weather been kinder to us). The location is very convenient for accessing both the north and south coast. However, Roche itself is not particularly attractive and the property is situated outside of the village so a car is needed to get to anything. We had a lovely week long stay in spite of inclement weather.
