Nasturtium Cottage in Par, Cornwall, is praised for its central location, proximity to beaches, and high-tech amenities. Guests appreciate the decor, garden area, and thoughtful touches, though some mention issues with cleanliness and maintenance. It's a good base for exploring local attractions like the Eden Project.
Mixed feedback on cleanliness; some guests found the cottage to be well-maintained, while others reported dirtiness and a smell of damp. The bathroom cleanliness is consistently noted as good.
The location is highly regarded for its convenience to local shops, the Eden Project, and beaches. However, some guests noted traffic noise due to the cottage's proximity to a busy road.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with a cosy lounge and beautiful decor. Some concerns were raised about the size of the shower cubicle and the need for additional heating in certain rooms.
Facilities like high-tech heating, WIFI, and a well-equipped kitchen are appreciated. However, there are suggestions for improvement in housekeeping and the provision of a washing machine over a dishwasher.
While guests mention high attention to detail and thoughtful amenities, there is no specific mention of gifts, and therefore it cannot be determined if gifts are provided or not.

We had a lovely time in the very hot temperatures! Everything that we needed and a nice central location for exploring some beautiful places. We were grateful for all the useful info provided by the owners on places to visit.

The parking at the coop is very close to the cottage with many space... Greater cookingpots for a family of 4 persons will be great ... Befor booking the cottage, we had no information about the case, that Middleway is a road often used by coaches, lorrys and loud motorcycles. Both sleepingsrooms are to the roadside. The early bird (6 am) catches ...

The kitchen wasnât very clean - cupboard doors were dirty and sticky. The drain smell when the dishwasher was on was awful. The hard floor on the ground floor was really dirty. You could tell it had been mopped as there were mopping marks but the floor was still dirty. The front of the cottage is dirty (flooring, paint work, meter cupboard) so the general appearance isnât great. The garden is also unkept - over grown & messy. The deck, chairs and table were filthy. All in all I felt really let down and itâs certainly not good value for the money. On the positive side it was a really good location for the Eden project and the bathroom was clean (apart from the extractor which is filthy). A lot of the above is so easy to fix with better housekeeping and more attention to detail. A welcome pack would be appreciated as well as some general instructions about locating switches for things (the oven for example) and instructions about bins. A few tips - the house needs to be aired and it needs a dehumidifier. Less Knick knacks - theyâre not needed - you need empty surfaces to put your own stuff when staying at a holiday cottage. Sort out the crockery, cutlery etc in the kitchen - itâs such a mix of random things. Provide a airer for drying beach towels etc - a heated airer would be even better to counteract the general dampness of the cottage.
