Combe Cottage is praised for its cleanliness, charm, and modern amenities like a well-equipped kitchen and efficient heating. Its location is ideal for exploring Stroud and the South Cotswolds, with easy access to walks and local shops. The property's character, including steep stairs and uneven floors, adds to its appeal, though it may not suit everyone. The garden is a tranquil spot for relaxation.

The cottage is consistently described as clean and well-maintained, with one review specifically noting it as 'spotlessly clean'.

The location is highly regarded for its convenience to Stroud, Cirencester, and local attractions, with easy access to walks and amenities.

Comfort is generally praised, with mentions of a cosy atmosphere and well-furnished spaces. However, some concerns about steep stairs and potential mobility issues slightly affect the score.

Facilities are well-received, with modern bathrooms and kitchens. However, there are reports of maintenance issues such as a problematic electric shower, which lowers the score.

While reviews mention the owner's helpfulness and the property's provision of amenities, there is no specific reference to gifts or extra thoughtful touches, so a score cannot be provided.

We felt privileged to have stayed in such an old and lovely quirky home. Yes there is some noise from the road at the back but it was soon forgotten whilst sitting on decking surrounded by vines. Great for our dog.

Cottage very clean and well maintained. Good base for exploring the cotswolds. Neighbour very friendly and helpful. Stairs could be a little challenging for older people. Rope handrail fixing becoming loose and needs attention.

It is well located for seeing the local area either by car or walking, and what a wonderful part of the country it is. My thanks to the owner who I found to be most helpful.
