Offering a delightful, fully enclosed courtyard garden with no steps to the rear and stunning original features, this dwelling is the perfect base from which to explore Cornwall. Immediately to the front of the property is one private car parking space․ Stepping into the property, from the hallway the bright and airy sitting room welcomes you to kick off your sandy boots and relax in front of the TV with your loved ones on the plush sofas, while the electric woodburning-effect stove gives the room a light, amber glow.
From here, the property continues into the generous kitchen and dining area, with all the equipment you could need to enjoy some delicious home-cooked meals, such as a large fridge/freezer and an electric hob and oven; this is sure to be one of the social hubs throughout your stay while you plan your day over your morning coffee. Just off the kitchen, you will find a handy utility space, fit with a washing machine and plenty of games and kit for the children of the group to enjoy in the sun. The pretty harbour town of Fowey is 3 miles away and there is a regular bus service from Tywardreath if you want to leave your car at home. Par Sands Beach is within walking distance from the property and dog friendly all year round, where adults and children alike can bask in the gorgeous sandy beaches and lapping seawater, or perhaps discover some of the inland gardens such as Marsh Villa Gardens, seemingly small but home to a vast collection of plant life for you to discover.
If you are travelling with younger guests, Camel Creek Adventure Park is a short car journey from the property, whereas the animal lovers of the group can enjoy days out to Newquay Zoo or Fowey Aquarium, there really is fun for all the family. Enrich your experience by venturing out to some of the nearby historic sites; the Historic Port of Charlestown, once a bustling harbour this compact village harbour is now a popular site among tourists for its beauty․ Charlestown is famed as a filming site for Poldark too! The Eden Project is just a 10 minute drive away and The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Mevagissey are 25 minutes drive away from this cottage.
Lanhydrock, a National Trust property and gardens is also close the abode, while further afield in Truro the magnificent Truro Cathedral is another popular tourist attraction where you can embrace the views and culture of the town.
