La Petit Maison is a charming, brand new barn conversion nestled in the quaint town of St Columb Major in Cornwall.
Surrounded by fields of panoramic Cornish countryside, this two-bedroom property sleeps four, making it an ideal escape for small families, friend groups and two well-behaved pets.
Step into a beautifully-decorated, open-plan living space, and sink into the comfy leather sofas by the woodburner as you watch your favourite movie on the Smart TV. Make use of the breakfast bar and dining table to tuck into the delicious meals you’ll make in the well equipped kitchen. When the sun is shining, head out to the garden with plenty of space for the children and dogs to run around and grill up a feast on the barbecue. Unwind from the day in one of three shower rooms, making sure to put your towel on the heated rail to keep it nice and toasty, and head to bed in either a twin or double room; those lucky enough to get the master bedroom can enjoy their own ensuite shower, and can watch the sunrise over the countryside from the Juliet balcony.

An old and picturesque market town nestled among lush green countryside, just five miles from the North Cornish Coast. The resort attractions of Newquay includes bars, clubs, a zoo, vibrant shops, the National Surfing Centre and fabulous beaches are all just 7 miles away, while 9 miles in the other direction is the sleepy fishing port of Padstow. In between lies a beautiful section of the South West Coast path, winding its way over the clifftops, down to tranquil coves and across some of the region's top beaches. The surrounding area is also a visitor’s paradise with much to see and do. Stately homes, world-renowned gardens, adventure playgrounds and theme parks, model railways, fishing lakes and golf courses are all to be discovered within 10 miles. Even the spectacular Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, both on the other side of the county, are only 12 miles away, making this a superb base for your Cornish holiday.

One bedroom with en suite but another shower by the other bedroom. Fabulous scenery from the cottage windows. Fully functional kitchen, oven & hob, fridge, microwave & even an air fryer. Utility room with a fridge freezer, washer & tumbler dryer. Under floor heating, central heating a log burner which we didnât use as it was too warm. This was ideal for us visiting family in Truro. We also visited Porth Beach, Mawgan Porth Beach & Harlyn Bay. Our son brought his whippet Flo & this time of year dogs are allowed on the beaches so she had a wonderful time. We would definitely recommend.
