This is a clean, stylish and comfortable place to prepare family meals, whilst the warm sitting/dining room adjacent has a delightful stone fireplace with open fire. Also on the ground floor is a family shower room.

To rest your head after a day of exploring the coastline, make your way to the first floor where you will find three comfortably furnished double bedrooms and a spacious family bathroom.

One of the highlights of this holiday home is its garden; with borders of shrubs and plants, two furnished patio areas for alfresco dining and relaxing in the sunshine, not to mention a summer house, this is a superb place to unwind in peace and tranquillity, whilst remaining just a stone’s throw from the water’ edge.

Take the short walk from Brook Cottage down to Port Isaac’s harbour, or head out for a stroll along the coast path, perhaps venturing to one of the nearby coves. Or why not head to one of the many fantastic eateries nearby for a fantastic seafood lunch, before ambling back for an afternoon doze in the garden.

Looking to see more of North Cornwall’s coastline? Polzeath, Rock and Daymer Bay can be easily reached, whilst the beaches of Mawgan Porth and Newquay, and the National Trust property Lanhydrock are around 40 minutes’ drive by car.

For families of walkers, explorers and beach fans, Brook Cottage is an excellent choice of accommodation.

A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. Only ten minutes drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike. There is ample parking at the top of the village.
