Guests have had delightful stays at Grey Roofs, praising its immaculate presentation, stunning location, and the charming terrace with sea views. The property's character and high-standard furnishings are consistently appreciated, alongside the well-equipped kitchen. While parking and access may require some effort, the cottage's proximity to local amenities and coastal paths more than compensates. The warmth and cosiness of the property, even in colder months, have left visitors with lasting memories and recommendations.
Reviewers consistently mention the property being immaculate and spotless, indicating a very high level of cleanliness throughout the cottage.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the waterfront, local shops, and the coastal path, though the parking situation slightly detracts from the perfect score.
Guests find the beds comfy and the property cosy, especially with the wood burner. However, a mention of less comfortable mattresses suggests a slight room for improvement.
The property is well-equipped, with a particularly noted kitchen, but comments about steep steps and the need for clearer instructions for some appliances suggest some areas could be enhanced.
While the reviews reflect a thoughtful presentation of the property and mention of a welcome pack, there is insufficient information to guarantee such gifts for future guests, and thus a score cannot be provided.

Port Isaac is one of Cornwall's best-kept secrets. Fishing villages nestled in steep valleys, the old hamlet remains untouched from its days of fishing, exporting slate, and running smuggling gangs in the last century. It's easy to go to the village's numerous restaurants and stores, which are supplemented by a wide variety of little character homes. As the tide goes out, the sandy harbour becomes a haven for rock pools. A short drive from the Polzeath, Daymer, and Rock beaches, this property is ideal for both a romantic getaway and a family vacation. At the very top of the village, there is plenty of space for vehicles to park.

Everything we needed was in the cottage, or on our doorstep. Will definitely be back to enjoy the lovely Port Isaac again next year.
