We have absolutely loved our stay at Hillside! What a beautiful, spacious house! The cottage was great and had everything we could possibly need! There is a large dining table in the kitchen which became the heart of the house and a lovely log burner which helped warm my wife up after surfing at Polzeath. The beds were very comfy and our en suite bathroom's shower was lovely. We had a bit of time working "from home" and really appreciated the good internet connection. The location was ideal for exploring Port Isaac (a magical village! Very picturesque!) and the perfect base for exploring some more of Cornwall, including its wonderful beaches. Overall, our holiday was unforgettable and hopefully we will be back next year :)

This was our second visit for the new year and we have already booked to return again. Seven people, three generations and the dog, we love it. More than enough accommodation and great value. The hosts have always been brilliant, quick communication always trying their best to allow our stays to happen.Hillside has loads of space, the grandkids think the top floor which they call "the penthouse " is amazing but they can also disappear into the play room if they want to. The kitchen is well equipped with just about every piece of kit you could want and the nice touch is you didn't need to worry about having forgotten dishwasher tablets or washing powder, there was plenty under the sink. Tea and coffee in the cupboard were really welcome after the drive down along with the welcome pack containing lovely biscuits and wine. Best bit about the kitchen though is that it has enough space for all of us to sit down for dinner, non of this five at the table and two at the breakfast bar that we've seen in other places we have stayed.Fantastic location, walk down the hill from the front door and you are in the centre of the village with the option to keep walking on the coast path if you want to go further. The Co-op, a five minutes walk away, is a gem.Out and about the Christmas lights at Heligan are certainly worth a visit and Pastow via the Rock ferry is great fun.
