Port Isaac is a true Cornish treasure. The old village in the valley, a beautiful fishing village nestled in a steep sided valley, has remained unchanged since its days of fishing, slate export, and smuggling in the previous century. There are numerous small character properties, as well as larger cliff-top retreats, with easy access to the village's numerous restaurants and shops. As the tide recedes, the sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools. There is plenty of parking at the top of the village, and it is a popular tourist destination with many attractions such as the dramatic Doyden Castle, the beautiful Lundy Bay, and the famous Doc Martin's clinic.

Ideal stay for my family, the location was idilic. Several pieces of key furniture could be improved, the chairs do not fit under the dining table. Which made it difficult for our children to sit comfortably whilst eating. The sofa is also too low for comfortable adult usage. If improved the cottage would be perfect.

Beautifully redone and in a great locationâ a 2 minute walk to the main village and the co-op. The outdoor seating area is a lovely place to have a coffee or enjoy lunch. *Only thing to note*, that isnât clear from the listing, is that there is no shampoo or shower soap provided so you will need to bring your own. Overall a fantastic spot in the lovely village of Port Isaac.
