No. 2 The Fish Cellars is a truly exceptional two-storey coastal retreat, beautifully restored to an impeccable standard. Occupying an enviable position in the heart of the idyllic National Trust cove at Port Quin, this is one of Cornwall's most coveted waterfront locations. Step out of the front door, cross the quiet lane, and within moments you're in the crystal-clear sea - an unforgettable setting for wild swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, or simply embracing the magic of life by the water.
Thoughtfully designed for effortless coastal living, the light-filled open-plan living space is the perfect place to gather after days spent by the sea. Sink into the generous sofas beside the crackling wood-burning stove, while the beautifully appointed kitchen provides everything needed to create memorable holiday meals, best enjoyed around the large dining table with family and friends.
Upstairs, the spacious bedrooms are full of charm and character, overlooking the picturesque cobbled courtyard and the surrounding countryside beyond. A practical utility room and ground floor shower room are ideal for washing away salty skin, sandy toes and walking boots after adventures along the coast, ensuring every detail has been considered for a relaxing and comfortable stay.
Approached via the delightful cobbled courtyard, the property also benefits from allocated parking for two cars. Steeped in local history, The Fish Cellars were once traditional pilchard cellars, where fishermen salted and pressed their catch into barrels destined for Southern Europe. Beautifully transformed, the building now offers a unique blend of heritage, luxury and contemporary comfort.
With the sheltered cove of Port Quin quite literally on your doorstep, the setting is nothing short of extraordinary. Spend leisurely mornings slipping into the sea before breakfast, lazy afternoons basking on the rocks, and evenings watching the sunset dance across the water. From the front door, spectacular walks along the South West Coast Path lead to the charming fishing village of Port Isaac, while the peaceful surroundings make this an idyllic escape for those seeking the very best of the North Cornwall coast.

Fabulous place, we have been here before and won't go anywhere else if we are in the region. Charming! Washer and Dryer were fantastic to have and ran great!

A fantastic stay just behind the beach at Port Quin, in The Fish Cellars. A great base for exploring the beach and local coastal paths. We had lots of fun paddle boarding and kayaking in the cove as well as BBQâs on the beach watching the sunsets. The house was well laid out for the six of us, with plenty of space. Well-appointed with all the essentials.
