Moving through the space, you’ll find the kitchen, home to a cooker where you can rustle up your meals, and that all-important dishwasher to help with the cleaning up. In the warmer months, throw open the doors and let sea air in, or take your meals outside and make the most of the weather with an alfresco dinner. Alternatively, pop outside to take in the sun at the multilevel garden, the perfect spot for admiring your surroundings while your four-legged friends stretch their legs. Return to the cottage to freshen up before jumping into bed, with a bath and shower over giving you the option for a soak or spritz. When you’re ready to branch out, a wealth of delightful experiences await in the rest of Cornwall too, such as the golden sandy beaches at Polzeath and Daymer Bay, though bear in mind Polzeath beach is dog-free from Easter to October! For the avid walkers, you’ll find access to Port Quinn and The Rumps in one direction and Port Gaverne in the other, making for a serene day out with a packed lunch. A plethora of opportunities await - Rock, which has a number of restaurants, not to mention the famous St. Enodoc Golf Club. From Rock you can take the foot ferry across the estuary to a bustling Padstow, famous for it's wonderful fish restaurants, notably Rick Steins. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. There is ample parking at the top of the village and the village is a popular tourist destination with plenty of attractions including the dramatic Doyden Castle, the beautiful Lundy Bay and the famous Doc Martin's clinic. There are also plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shops in the village. Just a short drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike.
