Lodge was amazing. Location very good if you want to move around and see different areas, which we did. Lodge was very hot though. Could do with air conditioning maybe for the hotter months. The only disappointment was nothing to do with the lodge but the Bird of prey sanctuary. The leaflets were out of date in the lodge regarding to visiting the Birds of prey sanctuary, which they wouldn’t honour the prices. The hot tub was great, we used it most nights, even though it was very hot at times. Only real problem we found was the size of the fridge. For a family to store food and drinks it was a little small. I would definitely go back to the lodge.

The lodge was exactly as advertised, providing a great central location to explore Cornwall. The fenced garden with astroturf was a great feature for our dog after long days at the beach. Everything was super clean and all the kitchen amenities well stocked. We had a very minor quibble about the kitchen trash bin, which had a sticky lid that we could never quite remedy but I'm sure that is easily fixable. Overall an excellent and affordable spot for a Cornwall holiday!

A very comfortable and nicely furnished Lodge in a convenient position to get to both north and south Cornwall. We spent more time than we'd anticipated in the Lodge as the weather was variable and my companion was 85. We had a couple of issues with the showers the day after we arrived and these were resolved within a couple of hours. The only thing I'd change would be to reduce the number of cushions on the beds.
