Stroll 500 metres down a footpath to the shores of the beautiful Camel Estuary. Spend sunny afternoons swimming from the secluded beach at Porthilly Cove, 3 miles away, or picnicking on the stretching sands of Rock, 4.5 miles away. Catch the pedestrian Black Tor ferry across the estuary to colourful Padstow or drive 11.5 miles to the famous fishing port, which is renowned for its fresh seafood and celebrated restaurants. Hire bicycles in Wadebridge and pedal almost 6 miles along the Camel Trail to Bodmin, passing through magnificent scenery as you go.
