These pet-friendly holiday barns are situated less than half a mile from the stunning north coast of Cornwall. The access is via a typical Cornish narrow road with beautiful scenic views of the sea peeping out through the hedgerow on approach. In the heart of this small Cornish hamlet are the x4 cottages furnished and fitted to provide a comfortable base from which to explore the many attractions that Cornwall has to offer. Each barn has a well-equipped kitchen and open-plan living. Each has its outside private area with a table and chairs, ideal for watching al fresco dining. Each property also has access to a shared electric car charging point which is charged on use; Please note: you must bring your charging lead. Each property also has access to an enclosed communal garden with picnic tables and a sea view.
Only a 5-minute car journey to the local village for local amenities we suggest you peruse the welcome folder in your cottage to familiarise yourself with your surroundings and to discover what amenities are local to your stay. Guests are close to the coastal path where you can reach a small beach called Tregardock on foot, approximately ½ mile away with its dog-friendly beach all year around.
North of the cottages you can reach Tintagel, the mythical home of King Arthur. A little further on, Boscastle with its picturesque harbour is a must. Travelling South, guests will come to Port Isaac, where the TV series ’Doc Martin’ was filmed, and further south visit the beautiful sandy surfing beach of Polzeath, the dunes at Rock where you can take a ferry across to Padstow with its working harbour, shops, pubs and restaurants and maybe cycle the Camel Trail to Wadebridge and beyond to Bodmin? Or visit Newquay for its famous surfing beach, Zoo and Aquarium.

We had a lovely holiday at Stable, very comfortable and so warm and cosy. The location is just perfect to visit Tintagel, Port Isaac and Boscastle, we also went to Harlyn bay. We would definitely return again.

Lovely holiday at the Stables with our dog “Roo”. Very clean with everything we needed. Great for walks especially along the southwest coastal footpath which is only a ten minute walk away. Recommend Tintagel, Boscastle, Port Isaac and Polzeath Beach. If you’re up for it walk to Pentire Head and the Rumps, absolutely stunning scenery.

A lovely little cottage, clean and tidy. Lovely walks for the dog close by (unfortunately the people in the next cottage were unable to pick up there dogs mes even though there was a bin right next to it. Got too put that down to bad owners.) Good parking, good size garden and clean all round area. Cottage had good kitchen area,oven microwave dishwasher and a washer dryer which was handy for wet clothes. Clean bathroom with a great power shower. Ideal for a couple although could do with a king size bed. Great place to stay.
